Alice Springs to Kings Canyon One Day Tour private charter service is an excellent opportunity to explore the panoramic desert landscapes of the region, passing through the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges. Learn the natural and geological history of the region, as well as the unique Australian desert flora and fauna, and hear about the traditional customs and beliefs of the local Aboriginal people. Along the way, the bus will stop at Erldunda (home of the Emu) Roadhouse for a break. Then, we will continue through the ever-changing landscape and reach Kings Canyon. Once we arrive in Kings Canyon, your tour group will enjoy the spellbinding Rim Walk. (Self-Guided walk) The Rim Walk will take you on a 6-kilometre circuit transcending into the Garden of Eden and back to the top to wonder at the 360 views. Depending on your pace to absorb the humbling scenery, the walk can take 3-4 hours. The start of the walk is the most difficult, with around 500 steep steps to climb
– once you are up there it will be one of the most magical experiences of your life. After you take in the views from the top of the stairs, continue your journey through Priscilla’s Crack, made famous by the classic Australian movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and to the first lookout across the canyon. From there, you will see the marvellous sandstone domes (a mini-Purnululu) known as the Lost City due to its resemblance to an ancient city.
Next up is your choice to continue exploring the top or take the stairs to the picturesque Garden of Eden, filled with
lush greenery, where you can cross a secured bridge over the sacred watering hole. Once you have captured this iconic moment, take the stairs back up to the south side of the canyon.
Then, we will leave the Kings Canyon site and head back to Alice Springs. Finally, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Alice Springs to Erldunda Road House Ride
You will explore the panoramic desert landscapes of the region, passing through the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges. You will learn the area's natural and geological history and the unique Australian desert flora and fauna. You will also hear about the traditional customs and beliefs of the local Aboriginal people. Your experienced guide/ driver will explain the formation of geology in Central Australia and other social cultures regarding land, flora, and fauna.
Short break at Erldunda Roadhouse (home of the Emu)
Erldunda Desert Oaks Resort is your haven for relaxation, exploration, and everything between Uluru and Alice Springs. We will help you get up and enclose Emu. You will get a chance to feed these fascinating animals. You may buy something to eat or get a coffee at your own expense.
Erldunda Road House to Kings Canyon Ride
You will continue to enjoy the landscape, wild animals, and desert experience throughout the journey.
